Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

KlivrApps ("we", "our", "us") operates the website klivrapps.com and a suite of AI-powered productivity tools accessible via subdomains (e.g. email.klivrapps.com, cv.klivrapps.com). We are responsible for the personal data you share with us when using our services.

If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@klivrapps.com.

2. What data we collect

We only collect what we need to provide and improve the service.

  • Account data — your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted) when you create an account.
  • Billing data — subscription plan and payment status. We do not store card numbers — payments are handled by Stripe.
  • Usage data — which apps you use, how often, and general interaction patterns. This is used to improve the product.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and session identifiers for security and debugging.
  • Input data — text you enter into the AI apps (e.g. email drafts, job descriptions). This is processed to generate your output and is not sold or used for ad targeting.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide access to our AI apps and manage your account.
  • To process payments and send billing-related emails.
  • To send product updates and important service announcements.
  • To improve the performance and accuracy of our AI tools.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security threats.
  • To comply with legal obligations under Swedish and EU law.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

For users in the EU/EEA, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract — processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests — improving our product, security monitoring, and communicating relevant updates.
  • Legal obligation — retaining records for tax and accounting purposes as required by Swedish law.
  • Consent — for optional marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate KlivrApps:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your card data.
  • OpenAI / AI providers — powering the AI features in our apps. Inputs may be sent to these APIs but are subject to their data processing agreements.
  • WordPress / hosting — our website and account system run on WordPress.
  • Analytics — we may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible) to understand site traffic without tracking individuals.

Each provider is bound by data processing agreements and operates under GDPR-compliant terms where applicable.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, maintain session state, and understand general usage patterns. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to log in or use certain features.

7. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain records (e.g. invoices and billing history, which we retain for 7 years as required under Swedish accounting law).

8. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@klivrapps.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we take data protection seriously and will notify you promptly if a breach affects your account.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of KlivrApps after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
